Volunteer Opportunities

Our History

We are a group of volunteers that believes that every kid deserves a chance to be successful and that participation in sports has a proven, positive correlation to academic achievement. This is not an "entitlement" program. Every Tri-Kid must adhere to our credo (see credo Tab) and meet certain academic progress and behavioral standards. Every Tri-Kid is expected to "give back" by performing volunteer activities. With today's education cutbacks, kids must "pay to play" and many low income kids can no longer afford to participate in school sports. We believe an idle child is not a good recipe for success.
